General Post Office Notice on Letter and Packet Penalties

April 2 1735 notice warns of prosecutions for illegal collection and delivery of letters and packets across the kingdom. It states penalties of five wounds and one hundred pounds per offense and warns carriers that unsealed or tied letters may be liable. Signed by Anthony Topp, Secretary.
