Japanese sailor runs amuck on Yamashiro Maru injuring three
Kobé residents were startled by a seaman carpenter Hiroji Katsujiro from Tosa attacking crew on the Yamashiro Maru. He wounded the first mate and second officer with a knife then fired an axe and fled ashore to be arrested at the Sailors' Home. The ship’s chief engineer and others were treated. the chief engineer released after dressing.
