The P and O mail arrived as scheduled this morning with advices dated earlier. Incoming ships carry Yokohama 26th Shanghai 2nd Oct Hong Kong 4th Singapore 12th Nov due via Marseilles on the 13th inst. The Suez departure occurred on the 1st inst. Eastern and Great Northern Telegraph lines remain out of order.
Passengers arriving by mail to Venice aboard the Hindostan include Mr. Fairhurst from Hong Kong, Mr. B Williams, Mr. Cohen, Mr. Scott from Singapore, Major Rutherford from Galle, and Mr. O Shigetoshi from Yokohama. Hong Kong adds Mr. T Mitchell and Mr. Hill, while Mr. and Mrs. Pearson arrive from Galle. Southampton by the Nizam expects arrival December 12 with Yokohama and Shanghai reports noted.
