Flodden Field and The Man Was Wee At Guy's Hospital
At a special Monday performance for Guy's Hospital two new plays were staged. Flodden Field, by Alfred Austin, drew praise for its ingenuous plot and staging despite dated diction, with Miss Constance Collier as Lady Heron. The Man Was Wee, adapted by F Kinsey Paine from Kipling, showed a moving WWI tale of Linmason, ending in death, highlighted by a strong performance from Mr Tree.
