Ministerial Bumbling Over Irish Land Bill Debate
The piece laments the government’s handling of the Irish Land Bill and related measures. It criticizes concessions to the Lords and Liberal Unionists, notes proposed amendments limiting land commission discretion, and warns the move may inflame Irish politics. It also flags the Massacre of the Innocents reference and discusses the Inland Revenue and Education bills amid broader Ministerial instability.
