Government Co Operative Poultry Marketing Stations Opens
The Provincial Department of Agriculture announces a co operative poultry marketing project with two receiving and killing stations from November 1 to December 15. One station at Saskatoon serves the northern half, the other at Regina serves the south. Producers are invited to ship live birds to the appropriate station. Experts from the Saskatchewan College of Agriculture supervise killing plucking grading and packing. All poultry including chickens turkeys ducks and geese will be handled. The Co operative Organization Branch will forward protectors after birds are received.

Stalwart Methodist Rally Day Set at Schoolhouse
The Stalwart Methodist Sunday School will hold a Rally Day service at the school house on Sunday evening September 24 at 7 20 o clock. Mrs Edna Rowlay has been visiting at the home of Mr and Mrs A Rt Laveau. W L Woodley former teacher here was in town for a few days on Saturday. Jack Tongs of the AMC has returned to Camp Hughes after harvest. Rh P Keuffman has bought a new steam engine to use for wheeling. The Stalwart Women Grain Growers held a very interesting meeting last Friday. Mrs Michener is recovering from appendicitis.
