Triumph Sunk: British battleship torpedoed in the Derentlines

London May 2 official news says the British battleship Triumph operating in the Derent lines has been torpedoed and sunk. The fate of about 700 officers and men remains uncertain though most are believed lost. Triumph, an 11 085 ton vessel, carried four 13.5 inch guns and a mix of smaller artillery and torpedo tubes.
