Craik hosts a July Chautauqua week featuring renowned lecturers singers and actors from metropolitan centers. Tickets priced 2.50 for adults and 1.00 for children, on sale now with passes available before July 1. An ideal short trip from Craik with ideal weather and roads.
Farmers report good soil moisture with rain in Saskatchewan helping the Liberty district wheat crop. Residents plan a big barn dance Friday night as Liberty Bros. Band and Stoxep bars prepare to entertain. Ted Wolff and the McKettrick boys traveled to Regian for a camp with a projected million program in service.

Citizens are urged to register this Saturday under a compulsory national measure. All individuals age ten and older must register at the district school from 9 to 10 pm. Pro-German or mockers may evade, but authorities will enforce penalties and obedience.
