Updates on road travel, football, concerts, and weather accompany notices of deaths, marriages, and a civic discussion about a price change for Ford cars in 1916.
The Liberty Masonic Lodge hosted a large picnic drawing attendees from Craik Imperial Heald and nearby towns. Events included tug of war, a boxing match, and races, followed by a dance that lasted until darkness. The lodge deserves thanks for organizing the festive day and inviting all to participate.
Adverse weather forced the Liberty Sunday Segend to cancel plans on Saturday but a Masonic party joined Monday for a Mig Arn trip. The day was pleasant with children enjoying activities and feasts though some boys cooled off in the water. Names of little participants are listed along with prizes donated by a local figure.
