Transocean News Agency reports a Kiel inventor has created dried milk in five gram lumps yielding about one eighth of a quart per lump. The moisture resistant, sour-free blocks will keep for six months. A full production plan in the Holstein district this year.
The Canadian navy reports the patrol vessel Ragcoon lost with 38 officers and men after defending a convoy off Canada's eastern coast.
