Beazer Farmer Killed by Windcharger Blade Near Cardston

Cardston report states G. G. Olsen, 54, a prominent Beazer district farmer, died instantly Thursday when the windcharger blade struck his chest on his farm about 12 miles from Cardston. He immigrated from Price Utah in 1898, married Annie Oakey in 1916, and was an active LDS member. Surviving are his wife, two sons, four daughters, three brothers, and two sisters. Funeral arrangements are pending with Komm and Christensen mortuary.

Terrace Plaza Hotel Opens in Cincinnati in Style

The 400 room Terrace Plaza Hotel in Cincinnati opened with John J. Emery cutting the ribbon. The two year project cost over 12 million dollars and includes air conditioned rooms with radio and television, an ice skating rink, roof garden, and convertible beds. Ground floor houses shops and offices while the hotel starts on the eighth floor. The rink seats about 75 skaters and summer plans include tables and umbrellas.
