Winnipeg civic election slates name new aldermen and trustees

Couple Dragged Behind Truck Near Estevan

In Estevan Saskatchewan on October 29 Mrs. Lloyd Honan of Benson and her husband were dragged by a truck when a trailing cable wrapped around their legs. The couple, walked behind the vehicle, were pulled under the wheels and released after the truck was jacked up and the dust wheels removed. The driver David McClean of Estevan said the cable on the hoist may have been tampered with. Estevan lies 128 miles southeast of Regina.

Calgary Lawyer Faces Preliminary Hearing On Drug Charge
