DISCUSS SALVATIONIST CHAPLAIN QUESTION London, Oct. 7.-ln the House of Lords, .last night, Earl Grey asked whether the Canadian government all- pointed Salvationist chaplains with the Canadian troons during the en- campment at Shornclifte, and wheth- er it was by order of the home gov- ernment or the Canadian government that these chaplains had not been al- lowed to accompany the forces to the front. Lord Newton is a case upon which the War Office has receiv- ed representations. We are In com- munication -Kith military authorities in France on the matter, which is not yet settled.
