An Error Re Water Rate The Herald was in error hi stating S'esterday that the new meter rates i I for water were a decrease from the old rates for the big consumers. This mis- j statement arose out of the fact that j the new rates, while they appear low-1 er, are monthly rates instead of quar- terly rates. Commissioner Grace showed this morning that the new rates are in reality about 11 per cent, higher, or the same increase as was made in the case of flat rates.
