The Independent Citizens association of Alberta was formed at a Saturday conference in Edmonton with 19 delegates. It aims to unite groups opposed to the Alberta government and to coordinate efforts for a responsive and progressive government. The resolution, proposed by J. Percy Page and seconded by D. M. Duggan, replaced United Citizens with Independent after Calgary delegate J. J. Saucier led the change.

Ottawa Nov 24 The Wartime Prices and Trade Board announced four general rules for applying the general price ceiling to new purchases identical to goods sold during the basic period September 15 to October 12 and to goods of similar quality not sold then.
