Montreal May 27 police arrested a man suspected as the gunman in the Bank of Toronto holdup. RCMP constable Alex Gamman died after being shot three times at Beaver Hall Hill while unarmed guards protected the Bank of Canada head office. Bank manager S G Bickley was wounded in the leg but recovering. The suspect, wounded in the left arm, was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
