The Left Hand Corner known as the Haunted or Butter Church sits deserted at Duncan BC above the Koksilah and Cowichan rivers delta. Built in 1870 by Father Peter Rondeault who came via the Panama Isthmus in 1858 to serve the Cowichan Indians. Roy Anderson Dies After Car Crash in Galt
Roy Anderson, 28, an employee of Greyhound Bus Lines in Lethbridge, died in Galt hospital at 12 20 am Thursday from injuries after the car he rode in collided with a truck on the hill below the city. He was in the car of the late Ralph A Amundson of Picture Butte. Amundson died Sunday. An inquest into the first fatality was adjourned and a second inquest into Anderson’s death is likely. Survived by a brother L E Anderson of Macleod. Funeral arrangements pending.

Halifax May 6 A large international search for a missing American DC-3 with two men aboard covers the North Atlantic.
