Norma Davies a 17 year old Lethbridge resident suffered serious injuries when the Oldsmobile she rode in rolled over four miles west of MacLeod around 6 pm Thursday. Robert T. Paul of Spexane sustained minor facial injuries. both were taken to MacLeod Municipal hospital. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at 50.
A sandbag dike around Morr hospital collapsed at 2 pm Friday. The town of 1,100 has been abandoned to floods as the river nears the Ahmed heads. The incident follows the area’s ongoing flood crisis and evacuations in the Morr region.
