A Puerto Rican bound airliner crashed in the Atlantic shortly after leaving San Juan. Forty seven persons are missing or feared dead. Coast guard reported 23 known survivors. Canon and Mrs William Askey Die in Collision
Canon William Askey and his wife were killed when their automobile collided with a bus near Selkirk Manitoba Monday night. Eighteen bus passengers including the driver were injured, with one woman from Winkler Manitoba suffering an injured jaw.
