Calgary blaze damages several businesses in downtown
A fire in Calgary destroyed the top two floors of a three story building near Eston Avenue West last night. Four businesses and a furniture warehouse suffered damage, with losses estimated from 250 thousand to 500 thousand dollars. Origin of the blaze was not immediately known. firefighters fought for over an hour to control the flames.
