Two young Bow Island residents, John Tunstall 23 and Phoebe Knam 17, remain in Medicine Hat General Hospital after a 36 hour ordeal in a stalled truck 3.5 miles southwest of Bow Island. They suffered severely frozen legs and hands and exposure. Doctors hope to save their limbs though several fingers and toes may be lost. Police say they left Bow Island around midnight Tuesday to attend a country turkey feed after watching a movie then became stuck in a ditch until near noon Thursday continuing the dangerous wait.

107 year old man found safe after missing report
