Warner Man Beattie Lillie Dies In Home Fire
Beattie Cuthbert Lillie 59 a longtime Warner resident died in a house fire. His body was found on his bed after the blaze damaged the home, which was quickly controlled by Warner and Milk River units and volunteers. The cause is undetermined and an inquest was not planned. Lillie, born in Plainview Minnesota, moved to Canada in 1908 with his father and later retired from farming two years ago. He is survived by his wife.
