Cincinnati art museum received thirty four paintings valued at one million dollars from Miss Mary Hanna heiress and philanthropist. The collection includes Gainsborough Renoir Canaletto and Dutch 18th century masters.
The United Nations Political and Security Committee approved general principles of a world wide arms reduction program and rejected immediate troop census plans. A Spaak backed compromise sent the troop census to the Security Council for later action while arms limits move toward final assembly approval.
