FAMOUS COLLECTION I OF JEWELS When "The Marriage of Kitty," with Miss Fannie Ward as the star is presented at Starland Theatre on Monday and Tuesday, photo-playgoers will see one of the most famous collections of; jewels in the world. They are the personal property of Miss Fannie Ward, internationally famous as a comedienne, and who makes her debut as, a photo-drama star in this comedy. Following her start on the American stage, Miss Ward, in the height of her popularity several years ago, went to liondon and there she invested thousands of dollars in acquiring a collection of jewels which, except when exhibited privately by the actress, seldom is seen. In "The Marriage of Kitty," Miss Ward wears some of her famous gems. The part of Kitty, which the star plays, auits Miss Ward perfectly. She is a self-reliant .joung American girl, who married an English lord that he may legally claim a fortune left under certain conditions. It is arranged that, the couple are to be divorced, but Kitty hasn't the 'least idea of losing such an opportunity, despite the many obstacles in her way. FIRST AIRSHIP The origin and early stages of aeroplane manufacture are fairly well known and understood, and credit has been given where due. It is, however, not so well known that the idea of the famous, or rather infamous, Zeppelin type of machine was taken from the French.
