A three way agreement among Alberta, Canada and the Canada Land and Irrigation Company Limited opens 240000 acres for irrigation in southeast Alberta from Bow River. It extends the current area toward Medicine Hat Retlaw Lomond and Sundial with land bought at two dollars an acre. The move includes Lomond Retlaw Sundial and stems from long negotiations.
