The Brazilian delegate at the United Nations Security Council condemned the Soviet Union and its satellites for similar detestation methods as Nazi groups. He criticized Yugoslavia and the United States tension, warning of possible Chapter VI or VII actions and potential sanctions or force if disputes escalate. The Moscow radio later reported Yugoslavia filed a complaint with the council about Danube shipping, with no direct US reference.
