150 Women Are Needed Immediately
OTTAWA Aug 22 The Royal Canadian Air Force announced the immediate need for 150 women to join the Canadian Women's Auxiliary Air Force. They will undergo five weeks of strenuous training to test fitness for officer and non commissioned officer roles. Women with leadership and initiative are sought to oversee airwomen sections. Harvest Progress Across Southern Alberta And Manitoba
This week end sees the harvest well advanced in Southern Alberta with 35 per cent of the crop cut and some threshing completed.
