Moscow dispatch reports British American and French diplomats will meet Prime Minister Stalin in Moscow to discuss the Berlin crisis and other international affairs amid signs of easing tensions. Progress among the four great powers is claimed by authoritative quarters.
British envoy Frank Roberts, U S ambassador Walter Bedell Smith, and French envoy Yves Chataigneau visited the Kremlin with a translator seeking a basis to bridge east west differences. Officials offered no comment on four power talks or the request for an interview with Prime Minister Stalin as Mos cow talks continued with no official confirmation.

Raymond South Road and Irrigation Construction Co. of Raymond has secured a $159,275 contract from the provincial department of public works to build the new highway grade from Cardston to Belly River. The route from Belly River to Waterton Lakes National Park is planned, with rapid completion targeted this fall. The project will employ three road outfits and aims to finish the remaining section between Welling and Magrath soon.
