Pioneer Woman Laid to Rest at Macleod Funeral
Mrs. Adam Ferguson died Sunday evening in hospital. Funeral held at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Macleod with Rev Herbert Dann and Capt Longden officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery. Pallbearers included local officials and neighbors. Born Christina MacDonald in Scotland, she came to Canada in 1892 and helped establish the Five Mile Creek community and the famed 77 Ranch.
