Hon Archie McNab Dies In Regina At 81
REGINA April 20 One of Western Canada's most colorful pioneers Hon Archibald P McNab former lieutenant governor of Saskatchewan is dead. The 81 year old one time railway section hand and homesteader died in a Regina hospital two months after relinquishing his office as the representative of the King. A Glengarry native he came west in 1882 with twin brother Neil and built a long career as a grain buyer businessman and Liberal legislator. He was appointed lieutenant governor in 1936 and remained active in public life while loving ball and football games. Continued on page three.
