Trustees Clash Over York Hotel Beer License Letter

Police Court Fines For Failing to File Income Tax Returns
In police court three southern Alberta men pled guilty to not filing 1945 and 1942 43 income tax returns. Jonas Untinen Carmangay Lloyd Johnson Barons and John Newby Lethbridge each fined 25 dollars with modest costs. Andrew Wurz Rockyford Hutterite colony admitted leaving scene of an accident and was fined 20 dollars plus costs. Others, including Alex Herman and Gordon Hamilton of Lethbridge and Thomas Dainard of Raymond, faced fines for parking violations liquor violations and intoxication. John Sevcov Kipp was convicted and fined 2 dollars plus costs for violating a highway ban. The case also noted a violation for operating a tractor and trailer on a highway near Coaldale.
