Sir Charles Fitzpatrick was sworn in as lieutenant governor of Quebec on Wednesday in the legislative council room. Governor General the Duke of Devonshire presided and read the oath in French. Sir Charles and Lady Fitzpatrick will remain in Ottawa before moving to Spencerwood.

Survived by her husband six sons two brothers and many relatives. funeral at the Presbyterian church with Rev W Sly officiating. She is a sister of Samuel Chipperfield of Abenethy.
A new edition of the Saskatchewan Homestead Map scaled 1 24 miles to the inch and corrected to July 1 outlines land disposal, lands entered, patents, forest reserves, timber berths, grazing licenses, Dominion Parks, Indian Reserves, agency boundaries, and land offices. Applications should go to the Superintendent of the Natural Resources Department in Ottawa.
