A large group of residents who were ill with influenza over the past ten days are now able to resume normal activities. Local clinics report improved conditions and reduced feverish symptoms among affected individuals.

A Brampton Schoolhouse event on October 18 under the Brampton Red Cross Society impressed attendees. D M Robertson chaired a varied program of readings solos and selections with praise for teacher Carter and the Olson orchestra providing popular music.
The concert realized 73 dollars with a member donating 25 dollars, bringing total proceeds to 98 dollars as Brampton Red Cross ladies again enjoy successful efforts.
