Laura Methodists wed in November ceremony at church
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at the Laura Methodist Church on November 28. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. F. B. Oldhan, with the bride given away by Mr. G Barrett in Mr. J. A. Barrett's illness. Bridesmaids included Miss J. Barrett and Miss E Flavel. The reception followed at the bride’s parents with 35 guests, and about 45 guests later at the couple’s residence before they left for Adelaide. Gifts listed from numerous relatives and friends, with many silver items and keepsakes noted.
