North Wales Resorts Association praises press ads
At Rhyl annual meeting chair man Hugh Party reported the association raised over £17,000 for purposes with £11,000 spent on press advertising. Seventeen thousand guides and 100,000 folders on North Wales were distributed. LMS Railway assistant publicity officer E Cheadle noted over £2,500 spent in the press and found 70 percent of excursion passengers learned of them from newspapers.
