At the North Wales Helle Reatete Resorts Association annual meeting in Rhyl, chairman Hugh Parry said over 17000 guides and 100000 folders advertising North Wales were distributed since the year, with 11000 spent on press ads. Ballye of LMS Ballye noted over 2500 spent in press advertising, and tests showed 70 percent of excursion passengers learned of the trips through papers.
