Draught Stock Fetches High Prices at Laura Sale
At the Goldsbrough Mort Ltd clearing sale on the Laura farm of A L Barrett the draught stock sold briskly. A gelding topped at £47 bought by a local farmer, other geldings brought £40, mares sold £39 and £35,£33,£26 with foals at £21, £15 and £13. West Coast buyers also purchased several animals.
