Laura District Council Lets Rechabites Use Hall Space
At a Laura District Council meeting a deputation led by H R Lines and L Lehman asked that part of the town hall, tied to the Laura Corporation and held by the council, be made available for lodge use. The council allowed two hours fortnightly at 2/6 rent while considering moving books from the upstairs library to the ground floor to free space for lodge meetings and social events.
