Adelaide Bushfires Volunteer Brigade discussed at Adelaide conference
A November 29 conference at Woods and Forest Department offices Adelaide convened by The News considered forming the Adelaide Bushfires Volunteer Brigade. Attendees included officials from Northern Barossa Adelaide Hills Kybybolite associations, the Conservator of Forests, Woods and Forest staff, and a National Safety Council representative. The meeting aimed to frame resolutions for a December 10 public meeting presided by Lord Mayor Cain.
