Australia prepares for a nation shaping car built to the countrys needs. The Holden features an integral body frame, 56 passenger capacity, 103 inch wheel base, 172 inch length, and a light 2230 pound kerb weight. It boasts independent front suspension, hydraulic brakes, a 142.5 cubic inch 218 hp six cylinder overhead valve engine, and a 60 mph development. Under a government deal, only a portion of its price and weight are imports.

About a hundred pupils from Hiiuestown Primary School paraded at Memorial Hall for a break up frolic attended by parents and friends. The event featured fancy costumes including clowns nurses fairies and many characters with a grand Polonaise opening the evening. Aqueous entertainments followed by games dances and a supper provided by the Mothers Club closed the festive night.
