The Landis Hotel parlors hosted a large crowd for a whist drive to raise funds for Red Cross work. Promoted by Miss Mable Cunningham and Mr. A. Sheard, the event netted 50 cents for Red Cross use. Prize winners included Miss Gilmore and Mr. Harer, with refreshments served after play.
