Provincial Coroner N L Phoenix of Landis and attorney T Rodman of Biggar are named alongside barristers E N Ayx, IX Nay, and agent of the Attorney General in Scott Sask with district and sport notes.

The Pinwherry Portert Landis bazaar collected 418 pounds in total. Pinwherry Church held its first bazaar on Thursday November 30 and drew a packed crowd. A varied programme including songs recitations and solos by Miss Dorothy and Mr Love and Mr Grego re of Lydden entertained. Auctioneering by E. E. with humor added levity and youth amused by ladies’ household items. Refreshments followed and 136 pounds were added for the Aid.
The Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Patriotic Fund launches a two week drive starting December 3 to raise 300000 from voluntary subscriptions plus 720000 via Patriotic Revenues Act. In September 3430 families, 10392 dependents, received $76302.50 in total allowances. 330 local branches urged universal participation.
Landis Ladies Association held a Bazaar on Friday December 8 in De vaney’s Hall. The concert opened with Mr McManus’s presidency and music, featuring Cornet by Mr Love and piano by Mr Gregory from Lydden. Rev. T J Williams thanked performers for aiding six months of entertainments.
