The Lieutenant Governor in Council approves new rules for ready money sales and shorter credit terms. Sellers may offer cash or credits under six months with conditions: payment before delivery, resale at purchaser's risk if not cleared, lots kept at seller's risk until delivery, each lot ticketed, and purchaser receives a certificate from the Vendu Master. Rules exclude six month credit sales per existing regulations.
Notice announces sale of the annual China Junk pass to Macassar by public auction at the Stadhouse Batavia on the first Proximo. Revenuv Committee sets terms the same as last year. C Assfy Secretary to Government. Batavia May 18 1815.
The copper bottomed brig JANE ready for sea with a capital crew of Bombay and Bengal Lascars is to be sold by public auction on the Wednesday the 24th instant in the forenoon. Correct inventories of stores available on board with Captain Afiller and at the Collector's Office before the sale. Payment in silver money at purchaser’s risk from the day of sale.
Property to be sold at public auction by the Secretary of the European Orphan Chamber on the premises on Friday the 26th instant at TPL o'clock. The house and grounds adjoin ing La Verteuse, with the property in the occupation of James Fichat Esq.
