Cape of Good Hope Trade Order Published 1814 1815

Royal Order directs trade regulations for the Cape of Good Hope, Malta, and surrounding territories. It authorizes port entry for repairs, provisional provisioning, and export of British and European goods under colonial rules, with limitations on tea trade and vessel size. Duly signed by Prince Regent in Council and Secretary C. Assey. Batavia July 5, 1815.

Public sale notice for copper at Sourabaya

On August 1 a quantity of Japan copper will be exposed to public sale at Sourabaya. Payment in silver with 10 percent paid at sale. Remainder due on delivery. Copper to be cleared within one month or resold for ready money. any deficiency to be made good by the original purchaser. By order of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

Notice to Tender for Edible Birds Nests and Tin Purchase

Notice by the Secretary to the Commercial Committee invites private tenders for edible birds nests and tin. Tenders due by the 15th instant must specify quantity quality sort and price per pecus and include two securities for payment within two months.
