Government announces to Batavia that the Court of Requests remains in force for matters not exceeding fifty Spanish Dollars. It orders translations and public notices to prevent irregular proceedings and forbids interference by Native and other officers.
In Batavia on a December Sunday in the year 1812 the lieutenant governor in council records acts by written order. C G Braclave, secretary to the government, authenticates the document in the official capacity.
Regulation by the Batavia government forbids Buffalo cart passage on both Western and Eastern Great Roads from Buitenzorg to Tanabang and Weltevreden. Carts must use specified routes. violators face up to ten days confinement or corporal punishment, or fines up to 40 Spanish Dollars. Officials may seize unauthorized road costs. Public notice dated January 12, 1815.
The General Treasury announces that the interest due on Treasury Notes issued in August 1819 will be paid in full. Payment is to be made at the General Treasury in Molen-Wa. Robinson, General Treasurer Wolenvliet, dated January 8, 1813.
