Inverell Cemetery Committee Meets After August 1929
The Inverell Cemetery committee met yesterday at noon with members including Mr D Wr Swan and Rev H Manning. Secretary Mr Little reported burial charges since August 14 1929 at £240 and expenditure at £237 15s. Subscriptions due June 5. discussions covered water supply electric service windmill and a possible well. Trustees list confirmed and improvements approved for cemetery cottage. Balance sheet shows receipts £102 10s and expenditures £182 18s with a bank balance of £24 11s. Sub committee to question Mr Colin Campbell on beautification bequests and a shelter shed proposed for weather relief and visitor comfort. A truuth meeting is set for August 16 with auditor Mr Hurditeh to be approached.
