The Trades Hall Council held a rowdy session on Friday in Melbourne. It rejected a motion by vice-president Mr. F. In Brisbane a shooting affray occurred near Boon Doores by Maryborough Queensland. Lealls Thorburn Tshenman was struck by a bullet and although wounded in the ribs he fought his attacker in the yard before collapsing. The alleged assailant was arrested.

Two Boys Drown In Duka Bay Near Sydney

In Duka Bay Maclean on Friday two boys Bonnie Spring i and Jock Collis aged 14 paddled an iron canoe in rough water when it foundered. A man named Dickenson witnessed the incident and reached the scene but both boys were missing. Spring's body was recovered some time later.
