Sydney Friday report notes C A Morgan a former Lang Party member shifts allegiance to the Federal Labor Party. Morgan backs A C Willis in seeking to purge the Labour movement and urges unified Federal control to regain public trust.
In Friday’s report from Adelaide Australia, bush fires swept Victoria Harbor causing extensive damage to residences. Several homesteads narrowly escaped destruction as flames raged through the area.
At Homebush today 37 613 sheep and lambs penned with sheep in clear majority and cheaper. Lambs firm with hoggets. wethers to 36 8, ewes to 23 4, hoggets 23 10, lambs 21 10, suckers 23 8. Cattle yarded 2675 head, prime share. vealers sold firm, heavy cattle cheaper 10 13. Bulls old to 1 2, cows to 8 16, vealers to 80. Sales listed by numerous buyers including Mid kin Cameron Camer on Gunebri Cameron Brogg L F Smith.
Friday market notes list bulk wheat at 27 to 2, Tasmanian potatoes 7 to 76, Western Victoria eggs new laid, butter 114 6 per cwt, cheese bids, maize 3 to 23, oats 19 to 2, onions 4 to 4.6, chaff and lucerne values, hay price 26 to 5, wire 2 40.5.3 and wheaten 24 to 28.
Today in Sydney the outlook is mostly fine with possible storms on plains. Winds shift from north to north-east and north-west, then a cool squally south-westerly change moves into southern border districts and inland areas.

In Inverell a woman, Isabella Dunlop of Taunton, faced three charges over sheep branding and earmarks. Magistrate dismissed first two counts after police failed to prove ownership or branding. third count also found no offence due to disputed mutilation and ear removal. Police proposed future action was rejected by the Inverell P P Board.
Paris reports Dowmergue accepted the premiership after assurances from former premiers that a national cabinet would be formed. He said he favors capable, young-minded men, will uphold the constitution, and opposes revolutionary excess. Intranselect opposition and actions by rioters, with police injuries, are noted as unrest continues.

A motor lorry and rail motor collided today on the Bimbi road level crossing at Grenfell. Patrick Hage, in charge of the lorry, was trapped but escaped injury after being thrown from his seat.
