Remand On Driving Charges in Inverell Case
Conia Crock 40 a laborer of Iver Street Inverell appeared at Inverell Court on January 27 charged with driving under the influence and driving negligently with inefficient brakes. River steamers introduced backloading with wool and other acts, involving Brigpane and a Sludmand station agency in Cilen Inne. After the Commercial Hotel closed he retired from active business life but kept cattle dealing as a hobby. He owned a growing property with three mules from Tingho and an interest in Mururula in the Far West. He was a noted horseman and athlete in country events half a century ago. His funeral was large, many from distant towns, and he was mourned by Masonic members whose regalia was buried with him. Vale Fred Parker English sportsman and old mate.
