Unemployment Relief Funds In Legislative Proposals

Truck Tumbles Down Embankment At The Gap

A Ford utility truck stalled while climbing a hill at The Gap three miles from Bedwell Downs and somersaulted twice down the grade. The three occupants, driver John Cullen, Mrs. Bill Buxton, and McDonald, sustained back and arm injuries. the wrecked vehicle was righted by Bedwell Downs workers and McDonald drove it into Inverell.

Melbourne man shot at Caulfield after midnight

Jack Devine, 24, was shot twice while seated in a utility truck at Caulfield Melbourne. He ran from the truck pursued by a gunman on foot as bullets hit his neck chest ribs and shoulder. Police suspect he was lured to the spot and a tour ing party joined in. He was taken to hospital unable to identify a motive or shooter.
